Country Thunder Arizona and Wisconsin Release Star Lineups
Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith, Eric Church and Brantley Gilbert will headline the Arizona version of next year’s Country Thunder festival, while Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley will be topped billed at the Wisconsin version of the event.
The Arizona version is up first and will be held over four days from April 11-14, 2013 in Florence, Ariz. Other artists appearing at the event include Kip Moore, Jana Kramer, Tracy Lawrence, Diamond Rio, Lee Brice and Justin Moore.
As you might expect, the Wisconsin version of the festival (which is outdoors) won’t take place as early in the year, and will be held at Twin Lakes, Wisc., which is about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. Other performers at the festival include Little Big Town, Chris Young, Phil Vassar, Edens Edge and Joe Nichols. Lady Antebellum also will headline this version of the festival, as well.
In addition to attending the festival, concertgoers also have the option to camp on festival grounds. Camping requires an additional fee in addition to festival tickets.
The festival date is one of the first few concerts Toby Keith has planned for 2013, and the news comes soon after the singer had surgery following a gall bladder attack, though he assures TheBoot.com that he came through fine.
“I had an attack, I thought it was weird indigestion back in December,” he said. “Then it was gone for three months and didn’t think anything about it. I thought it was a cramp. Then in March I was on the golf course and by the third hole, I hit my drive and then started feeling that same thing I had three months earlier. Me and the guys hit our second shots and by the time I got to the green, I was doubled over, and dry heaving, broke out in a sweat. Everybody says when you have a gall bladder attack, it feels like a heart attack. And I didn’t think it was that bad. It felt like a stomach cramp.”
