Cornershop Jumps the Pond to Tour US

Cornershop, the Indie rockers, will perform in U.S. clubs to support their new EP of four songs due to be released next month.  It will be the first American tour for the British band in eight years.

Cornershop, which consists of seven band members, will be kicking off their US outing in Seattle with a performance on November 11.   Eight other club shows will follow in a time span of ten days.  The trek will wrap up in Carrboro NC on November 21.

The band’s digital four song EP, “The Battle of New Orleans,” will be released on November 2.  It will include a remix of “Soul School,” a previously released single.  The song can be heard at Cornershop’s website.

Cornershop last summer released “Judy Sucks A Lemon For Breakfast.  It was the first album from the band since “Handcream for a Generation” was released in 2002.

According to a recent press release, Cornershop is scheduled to release a new full-length studio album in February.
