Charlie Sheen Takes His Crazy on Tour to Chicago, Detroit

Two and a Half Men may be firmly affixed in Charlie Sheen’s rearview mirror, but that doesn’t mean that this train wreck extraordinaire is going to sit idly by, soaking up all his newly acquired free time. This week, Live Nation inked Sheen to a deal that covers licensing and merchandising of every nut job phrases that passes unfiltered through his lips as well as a live tour that will launch in Detroit on April 2. Currently, the Detroit date and follow-up in Chicago are the only announced stops on the “Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour according to Ticketmaster’s website. Count on a healthy supply of dates to follow soon while the litany of nonsense is still fresh. The Chicago and Detroit performances go onsale Saturday at 10am EST.

The larger question is what exactly will this assault of truth entail? Will this stage show be Charlie Harper part deux, since his TV life didn’t seem to require much acting, or will he simply explode in a manic torrent of words, befouling anyone who ever did the Sheenster wrong? The mind boggles at the thought.

Regardless, this should prove one interesting night of comedy. If all else fails, you can always flip on your favorite second-tier cable channel that will continue to run Two and a Half Men reruns down your throat until they are little more than a bloody pulp.
