Cee-Lo, Flo Rida, B.o.B. Team Up for Nine City Tour
Flo Rida has announced a month-long tour to support his upcoming album, and Cee Lo Green and B.o.B. will be along for the ride.
The nine-date tour will kick off July 3 at the Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Fla., and the trek is scheduled to run through July 28 when the artists play a show at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. In between those dates, the tour also will visit Duluth, Ga.; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Houston; Dallas; Washington, D.C. and Atlantic City, N.J. Some of the dates will also include support from hip-hop trio Karmin and Kirko Bangz, a rapper from Houston.
The jaunt will be celebrating Flo Rida’s fourth studio album, Wild Ones, which will be released July 3. The album already has produced a hit for the rapper with the release of the title track preceding the album release. That song, which features Sia, peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
The album will be Flo Rida’s first since Only One Flo (Part 1) was released back in 2010. In addition to Sia, the new album is reported to feature heavy hitters like Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, T-Pain, LMFAO and Jennifer Lopez.
B.o.B. also has new music to offer fans on the tour, and his performances will be celebrating the release of his most recent album Strange Clouds, which was released last month. That album broke into the top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Strange Clouds is B.o.B’s second studio album, following his debut B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which landed at the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart. The new album features guest appearance from artists as varied as Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift and actor Morgan Freeman, who provides narration on the opening track.
The shows on the tour will be Cee Lo’s final dates before he begins a three-week residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas.
