Amidst their hectic tour schedule, Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles still managed to find time to dance in her jammies in Sara Bareilles’ new video “Uncharted”.
Joining her in the video collage of “uncharted” dancing moments are other singers like Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, rapper Pharell, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, Ben Folds, Laura Jansen, Cary Brothers and even Josh Groban.
This won’t be the first time Nettles is caught at a candid moment on cam. Sugarland’s ACM nominated music video “Stuck like Glue” also features the female singer’s comedic antics which made her more endearing and popular to the duo’s fans.
Sara Bareilles will be joining Sugarland in its on-going Incredible Machine tour. Bareilles, along with country music newbie Casey James, Matt Nathanson and Little Big Town will be taking turns in the opening act spot for the country duo’s sold out tour, which is scheduled to wrap in October after hitting 60 cities.
Sara Bareilles continues to prove that her success as a debuting recording artist in 2007 is not a fluke as she is scheduled to unveil her sophomore record, “Kaleidoscope Heart” on September 7 and will even go on tour this fall to promote the said record.
Bareilles will be trekking 29 US cities in a fall tour that will span for three months. Kicking off the album tour is a show in NYC’s Roseland Ballroom on September 25, after which she’ll be crossing to the west coast for a show at LA’s Orpheum Theatre on the 28th. The tour will have the piano-playing songstress criss-cross from coast to coast till she hits her final stop in Reno, NV on November 24.
Accompanying her in the tour are alternating opening acts Greg Laswell and Javier Dunn who will be performing through the tour’s first half till October 18 (Dunn will be performing only until October 4), and the Cary Brothers and Holly Conlan who will be holding opening duties from midway the tour’s schedule till its finale (Conlan will be opening from October 7 onwards).
The Neal Avron-produced “Kaleidoscope Heart” marks Bareilles’ second studio effort and features the hit track “King of Anything” which has been hitting the airwaves for at least two months now. The album is Bareilles’ follow-up to her 2007 debut set “Little Voice” which earned her two Grammy nods, one for the record and another for its lead single “Love Song”.
Bareilles is currently touring along with Sarah McLachlan and other female artists for the Lilith Tour which will come to a close tomorrow, August 3, in Columbia, MD.
