Jamie Foxx Highlights Musical Act with Fall Tour

Jamie Foxx is unveiling additional fall concert dates as the “Blame It” tour for the Academy Award-winning actor continues on its summer circuit US cross country trek. The tour picks up at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on August 28 in Jacksonville, FL and will close at Nokia Theater on October 16-17 in Los Angeles, CA.

The updated itinerary for Foxx is featuring around a dozen new dates, including some extended stays in a few of the venues around the country. The singer, in addition to his two night West Coast stand to close the tour, will also be at the Chastain Park Amphitheater on September 5-6 in Atlanta, GA as well as Nokia Theatre on September 25-26 in Grand Prairie, TX.

Other recent additions to the tour include upcoming performances in Tampa, FL on August 31 at Carol Morsani Hall; AT&T Center on September 27 in San Antonio, TX; and a Caesars Palace concert on October 9 in Las Vegas, NV.

Initially the tour was called “Intuition Tour” before the launch in mid summer, borrowing the name from the new studio album from Foxx that was released December 2008. However since then the tour has transitioned into officially becoming the “Blame It” tour, named after the hit single from the album which peaked on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart at No. 2 while spending over 25 weeks on the hits chart.

The original plans for the summer tour of Foxx went from early July and closed out in Grand Prairie, TX on September 25. The musician-actor has completely almost 30 performances already this year. Originally his tour was expected to run for around 50 dates in total.
