Brad Paisley’s Next Tour & Album Take Shape

Brad Paisley’s Next Tour & Album Take Shape

In just ten days, Brad Paisley will be on the next leg for the Paisley Party Tour. However, Brad is looking ahead already to the next run of concerts he will do to coincide with his new album’s release this summer.

One of the main things he wants to do is to give people a really big show, but in a way for making the equipment to be as small as it can possibly be.

Paisley said to The Tennessean, I think this year we have nine trucks. This year I definitely do not want more than nine. We found out what can happen the hard way when it comes to gas prices. Also it is very ostentatious rolling into towns like that when everyone is hurting. I think that 2009 will be a little bit worse than 2008. People I think will still buy tickets. We will keep the price low. Also I think they will still come out for the shows because music is needed more than ever.

The tour schedule for Paisley seems to geared very intelligently around Brad’s personal life. His tour returns on January 15 with a show in Southaven, Miss. along with a new lineup of support that includes Crystal Shawanda, Dierks Bentley and Darius Rucker, and runs through March 14 with a show in Nashville. This should allow Brad to be at home when Kimberly, his wife, delivers their second baby due in April. It will allow him to be home for several months or weeks with the new baby and his son Huck before the beginning of his next tour.

Got the Worst Seats on the Paisley Tour? Brad Feels Your Pain

Got the Worst Seats on the Paisley Tour? Brad Feels Your Pain

Did you buy a ticket for Brad Paisley’s Paisley Party Tour but worried that your seat on the lawn is so far away that you will not get to see very much of the show?

If so, don’t worry. Brad Paisley is feeling your pain. He is trying his best to figure out how to reach you in the best way. On his tour he is putting a stage together that has three runways going out to the crowd. One of the runways extends almost clear to the soundboard. In addition, he is planning to have lots of video closeups as well as other effects to help keep everyone involved.

One of the reasons for the concern is due to the fact that Brad is a very nice guy. Another reasons is because he’s a very smart business man. People who got on the font rows are obviously already big fans. Paisley would like to keep them happy. However, he would also like to make some new fans through paying attention to ticket holders at the back.

Paisley said to The Orange County Register, those people are the ones who really need it. They are the ones, for whatever reason, who waited a really long time to buy their tickets. We really want to reach out to them. Whether it’s due to financial problems and needing to scrape the money together or maybe they were not convinced, either way you want these people leaving the concert and wanting to buy a front row seat next time.

Some of things you will see during the Paisley Party Tour are elaborate video and lightning material, gigantic blow up globes, and even cartoons that were created by Brad to help keep it interesting during an instrumental of five minutes. Brad does consider himself to be first and foremost a guitar player and wants to do an instrumental but also figures that the cartoons can help to keep the audience more involved.

Paisley said, I don’t ever want to be an artist that says, this is what I can do. I really don’t care if you get bored. That isn’t what I am all about. I want to find ways to do what I like to do but still be entertaining.

Brad Paisley Launches ‘Bonfires & Amplifiers’ Tour

Brad Paisley Launches ‘Bonfires & Amplifiers’ Tour

Over the past 12 months the Brad Paisley Bonfires and Amplifiers Tour has been one of the best country packages. Now Brad is prepared to hit the road once again for the Paisley Party Tour along with three supporting acts. The tour kicks off with a show in Albuquerque, N.M.

Just a few months ago, Paisley celebrated his tenth year in country music. In particular this tour serves to demonstrate how he continues growing and learning from each new experience.

Paisley said, last year we designed the stage and when we came for rehearsal we took a look and said we could put this over here and the lights on those. This year instead we designed the stage around the song. There is a back screen that is interactive that I can work with. You can actually stand next to a screen and play right off of it. Some of it will get incorporated. Like the instrumental, I drew cartoons that run during the instrumental. The cartoon this year will be more interactive. I will be able to just walk up and be right in front of them.

Brad also has designed three runways for Paisley Party. The middle one juts way into the crowd at the venue’s main floor.

Paisley said, the front thrust goes practically all the way over to our sound board. That way the people that are in back get better seats for some parts in the show such as the acoustic set. We are thinking about things like that. You can just add some more lights. We have already crammed about as many lights that can possibly be crammed into an amphitheater. We are learning tricks that will help us to play better and better each year.

Paisley Party will feature Julianne Hough, Chuck Wicks and Jewel as well. After the Albuquerque show, Paisley will play consecutive nights in the cities of Phoenix, then San Diego and finally Orange County in California.
