Bright Eyes Roll Out New Tour Dates Through July
Bright Eyes is several months into the indie rock band’s 2011 tour already, as they continue adding new dates to their long itinerary.
Their recent addition of the new leg of dates in North America following a brief run overseas, now has the band scheduled out on the road until the middle of August.
The band is based out of Nebraska and headed by their frontman Conor Oberst. On April 14 the group is also scheduled to be a musical guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC-TV.
Bright Eyes is on tour to support their latest album “The People’s Key.” It’s the band first new set since “Cassadaga” was released in 2007. In the meantime Oberst stayed busy and released two albums along with the Mystic Valley Band. In 2008, they released “Conor Oberst” and “Outer South” in 2009. In 2009 Oberst recorded a self-titled set with Monsters of Folk, a super group.
