Bright Eyes Muzzles Break Up Talk, Release New Tour Dates
Conor Oberst, as early as 2009, hinted strongly that “The People’s Key,” Bright Eyes’ seventh album, would be their last. However recently the acclaimed songwriter-singer spoke with NME and back pedaled from the idea that the band would be breaking-up soon. Oberst said, after this year I guess we don’t have immediate plans. Whatever I said did sound pretty final. I can’t remember what I said exactly. You can look that up. I meant whatever I said that day.
There’s more good news from Bright Eyes. The band has just announced another North American round of tour dates. On August 25 the leg will kick off on August 25 in Detroit and wrap up on September 16 when the band performs at Austin City Limits. Opening acts include First Aid Kit, Dr. Dog, and Titus Andronicus.
