Brian Regan Takes Comedy Tour to 31 Cities in 2014
Comedian Brian Regan has just announced the first 31-city leg (that’s quite a beefy leg, don’t you think?) of his upcoming 2014 national theater tour.
The trek is set to kick off in Toledo, Ohio on January 9th, and will see the comedian make stops in Philadelphia, Dallas, San Antonio, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Charlotte, Boston, Richmond, among other places, before wrapping up the first leg with a show in Durham, North Carolina on May 10th.
With a track record like his, Regan may be one of the hardest working men in comedian, having made his first appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” way back when in 1995, cropping up regularly over the years, before making his 25th appearance on the show in 2012. That is the highest number of appearances made by any comedian ever on the CBS institution. His theater tour has been making annual stops in more than 80 cities since 2005 and earlier this year sold out the 8600-seat Red Rocks Amphitheater just outside of Denver.
Regan’s press release hailed:
“Critics and peers agree: Brian Regan has distinguished himself as one of the premier comedians in the country. The perfect balance of sophisticated writing and physicality, Brian fills theaters nationwide with fervent fans that span generations.”
Regan recently paired up with Jerry Seinfeld for his latest online series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Jerry introduces Regan as one of his favorite comedians and a straight up goofball. The short features fun tidbits like why Regan got into comedy, sibling coupling and comedian titans comparing bit. This bromance is a great watch if you’ve got twelve minutes to spare. Check it out.
