Brandon Flowers Ditches the Killers for Solo Tour
The Killers’ lead vocalist Brandon Flowers will be going on tour in his home soil to back up his recently released studio set, his first as a solo act, “Flamingo” which hit European stores two weeks ago and surfaced in the US market a week later.
Flowers will add 15 North American cities to his current itinerary which includes a month-long trail in Europe this month till mid-October. The North American leg of his tour will kick off in Los Angeles on November 10 and will include stops in Oakland, Seattle, Chicago, Boston and New York among others. The rock artist will also be stopping by two Canadian bicoastal cities, Vancouver on November 15 and Toronto on December 4 to finally close the entire trek.
Meanwhile, he is currently in Europe as he resumes road work in Dublin, Ireland two days from now. The European leg also includes multiple stops in Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK where he will be performing in seven cities, including Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and London – for two nights, October 17 and 19 – which will be his final European stop.
Flowers also clarified that The Killers are not disbanding. The band, best known for their hit “Mr. Brightside”, is currently in hiatus – performance and recording wise – but will return to record new material for a new album next year.
