The combination of bluegrass, country, folk, and rock is a blend of music well-suited for summer. It seems fitting, then, that the Avett Brothers, who typify this kind of music, will be playing at a variety of venues throughout the summer.

The four performers from North Carolina have announced yet another set of dates for a new tour, including performances that are concentrated in the western part of the country. The tour begins right after the group’s spring tour and several festival shows wind up. The band will be performing in Washington, Las Vegas, Utah, Hawaii, and California, where there will be two shows at the Fox Theatre in Oakland. There are also dates set for Chicago and Indianapolis in the early part of fall.

For these recently announced concerts, tickets will be available starting on Friday, April 1.
