Atlanta’s Tomorrowland Features Tiesto, Avicii, Steve Angello
Back in April it was announced that one of the largest EDM festivals in Europe — TomorrowLand — would launch a U.S. version this year. Dubbed TomorrowWorld, the Atlanta festival now has a lineup, which features Tiesto, Avicii and Steve Angello, among many others.
The festival will be held at Chattahoochee Hills in Fairburn, Ga. As a much better point of reference, this is just outside of Atlanta. The three-day festival will take place September 27-29.
Other notable artists include David Guetta, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Axwell and Steve Aoki. There are a ton of ticket options available, and seem to start around $130 for a single-day pass or $350 for a three-day pass. A press release reports that there are three-day passes available for $250, but there currently are none available on the website. Packages range up to over $5,000 for what’s known as a “Full Madness Comfort (VIP) + DreamVille Relax Room.”
It should be noted that unlike many festivals, there is a minimum age of 21 for TomorrowWorld.
““Three days of madness…” said the official website of the festival when it was first announced, “each day TomorrowWorld offers you the greatest artists, representing the very best of your favourite music genre; whether it’s house. progressive, techno, dubstep, trance, hardstyle, electro, minimal or any other genre… Be prepared to get blown away by an incredible TomorrowWorld 2013 line-up…”
When the festival was announced at an event in Miami in April, Michiel Beers — the co-owner of the festival — said that no detail was overlooked when planning the event.
“We will create a fairytale world from the smallest detail to the biggest stage,” he said.
At the announcement, it was revealed that 50,000 fans are expected to attend the event. While this will make one of the largest EDM festival in the U.S., it is much smaller than the original Tomorrowland, which typically hosts around 180,000 people.
