Amy Winehouse to Release Duet with Tony Bennett in September
The duet sung by Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse will finally be heard by the public in September.
Winehouse is one of many musicians who will share songs with Tony Bennett on his “Duets II” album which is set to be released on September 19. Other musicians who can be heard on the album are Norah Jones, Mariah Carey, and Sheryl Crow.
No further information is available on which song is shared by Bennett and Winehouse, just as there is no more information on the rest of the songs.
This duet is set to be the first vocal offering by Winehouse since she was the lead singer for Mark Ronson’s 2007 version of “Valerie,” originally sung by The Zutons.
Winehouse is rumored to be working on a new album and she will be performing live at Bibao’s BBK Festival in July.
