America's Got Talent Hits the Road

Move over American Idol, your NBC rival, “America’s Got Talent” will also be going on a tour that will span the entire country this fall.

This will be the first time for the talent show to bring its finalists, winners and other performers who have all made their marks in the previous seasons and the current season closer to their fans from different cities and states. Jerry Springer, who hosted the “America’s Got Talent” live show in Las Vegas, will also be hosting the road show which will kick off in Oakland’s Paramount Theatre on October 1 and will tackle mostly west coast and Midwestern cities throughout the month.

Towards the end of October till early November, the tour will swing by the east coast with stops in New York, New Jersey, and Boston to name a few, and a stop in Orlando on November 7 to finally wrap the tour up.

Tickets for all the shows included in the tour will be available to the public starting exactly a month from now, August 23, Friday through the AEG Live website. AEG Live is responsible for bringing the talent show live to 25 cities all across the US.

In a statement by Andy Felsher of Freemantle Media, he said that bringing the show live to several US cities is a thrilling “opportunity to bring fans closer to one of their favorite shows”. Freemantle Media has been producing the hit NBC talent show for five seasons now.
