Allman Brothers Book 12-Night Gig at NYC Beacon Theatre
After a brief and sudden change of schedules with their recently concluded shows being staged at the United Palace, the Allman Brothers finally get to straighten out their schedule allowing them to go back to their rightful NYC home, the Beacon Theatre, this year.
With a show set for March 21-22 and 24-26, the five-night stand completes the band’s 200-show milestone at the said venue, where they have been playing since 1989. Aside from a slate of shows at the Beacon, this year also marks the 40th anniversary of “At the Fillmore East”, a live album with tracks taken from the band’s two-night gig back in March 1971. The album has also been included in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress since its release.
Tickets for the Beacon shows will be available on January 8, Saturday at 10 AM ET.
