3OH!3, A Day to Remember Headline 2011 Van’s Warped Tour
Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Travie McCoy, A Day To Remember and 3OH!3 are topping the bill for Vans Warped Tour this year.
The acts will be joining a list of bands that is almost infinite for this annual tour which mixes music with extreme sports. Acts that were previously announced include Foxy Shazam, We Came As Romans, Yelawolf, Lucero, Street Dogs, Continental, The Aggrolites, Unwritten Law, Madina Lake, Pepper, Less Than Jake and Jack’s Mannequin.
Main stage acts were announced by the Warped organizers during a press conference over the weekend at a kick-off party for House of Vans new concert venue and indoor skate park in Brooklyn, NY. Despite the fact that tour has had Vans name in the title for a long time, this year will be the first time Warped and the shoe company will team up to do a series of in-store intimate events in select Van stores. Forthcoming events include an appearance by 30H!3 in the New York City Vans shop on March 31; On April 15 World Alive will appear in Portland OR; on April 18 A Day To Remember will be in Tampa, FL; and on June 23 The Devil Wears Prada will appear in Dallas, TX.
Over the weekend, a presale was also launched by Warped, giving fans the chance to snap up ticket packages for just $25. Presale goodies include a compilation CD of the 2011 Vans Warped Tour, 3D ticket to be used as an early entry pass, and 25 cent donation going to The United charity.
