2014 Country Stampede Lineup Features Luke Bryan, Eric Church
Luke Bryan and Eric Church are set to headline the 19th annual Kicker Country Stampede next summer in Manhattan, Kansas.
The four day event is set to take place from June 26th-29th at Tuttle Creek State Park with Bryan, ACM’s Entertainer of the Year, performing headlining duties on Friday 27th, and similarly-overachieving Church, who’s CMA’s Male Vocalist of the Year and ACM’s current Album of the Year winner, headlining on Saturday 28th. Festival organizers have yet to announce any other performers, or the remaining headliners for Thursday 26th or Sunday 29th so keep checking back. New acts will trickle out as we make our way to June.
Last year’s festival featured performances from the likes of Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town.
Wayne Rouse, Country Stampede’s general manager, said in a press release, of the 2014 event:
“Country Stampede has become a lifestyle event, not just for the music, but for the overall experience which includes activities taking place in the campground. 2014 is going to be a party!”
Although, let’s be honest: what he probably meant was “partay.”
The festival stretches back to 1996 when it wsa a two-day event headlined by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. It has grown to become the largest annual music festival in Kansas, packing in 175,000 during a festival weekend. The campgrounds boast 2400 camp sites which cater to the attendees.
