Latin crooner Marc Anthony will be hitting the United States early in the fall to back up his late spring release, “Iconos”. Anthony’s short east coast album trek will entail seven dates with a two-night engagement in Miami’s American Airlines Arena on September 17 and 18. The east coast tour will kick off on September 10 at the Madison Square Garden in NYC and will cap off with a show at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on October 2.

Who could blame Jason Aldean for wanting to extend his tour.
Aldean over the past 13 months has been ranked No. 1 for a longer period of time than all other country artists. Aldean’s new album is set to be released in November, which may provide his fans with an opportunity for hearing some of his new music in concert.
Aldean said, we’ve discussed putting some of the new songs into the show. There’s a good chance of that. We haven’t performed them live yet, and the time is now.
Aldean is a native of Macon, GA. “Wide Open,” his album from 2009, lifted him to new heights with its three No. 1 hit singles and provided him with new opportunities such as taping “Crossroads” on CMT with Bryan Adams as well as the chance to work with Randy Owen.
Aldean talking about continuing his tour said, it’s been a great year, with our first tour of big arenas and some big songs. I’m not ready quite yet to move away from this. We are having such a blast together on the road.

Eight other country acts are scheduled to alternately appear alongside Williams for the tour. For the September leg, expect Eric Church, Sunny Sweeney, Gretchen Wilson and Lee Brice to perform as special guests while Jamey Johnson, Colt Ford, Josh Thompson and The Grascals will all be present when the tour hits its eight scheduled stops for October (The Grascals would not be appearing on October 9, 22 and 23, though).

The tour is scheduled to start in the middle of October. It will feature Lamontagne with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD on October 15 and on October 16 at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore. In November Lamontagne will perform nine acoustic shows across the country.

The final act to appear onstage in 2011 at Country Thunder will be Rascal Flatts.
The band has been out on the road most of the time recently with their “Nothing Like This Tour,” accompanied by opening acts Chris Young and Kellie Pickler. The trio is made up of Joe Don Rooney, Jay Demarcus and Gary LeVox. They may need to get a bigger bus soon. Joe Don and Jay’s wives are both pregnant. Rascal Flatts are also working on “To Appomattox,” an HBO miniseries, in addition to their sold out performances.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood, collectively known as the legendary rock band The Rolling Stones have recently confirmed that they will be going on a world tour that will be launched on 2011 and might span through 2012 which marks the Stones’ 50th year in the biz.
However, as soon as they firmed up reports of a 2011 world tour, rumors have spread that the gig will be the last performance for the band as they hit the retirement phase. A source for UK’s The Sun told the newspaper that the band will make this tour their last so they can “bow out on top of their game”, leave the biz in classic fashion without leaving their fans hanging or waiting for more.
