Britian’s jazzy mistress Corinne Bailey Rae is reading a new concert tour for spring of 2010 on North American soil. The Grammy-winning artist will be touring in support of her latest release “The Sea” that was introduced to the music-listening public yesterday (1/26). Her entourage will set down in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 9 and work her way over both coasts before wrapping up in Baltimore, Maryland on May 14.

Kenny Chesney said that he’d be largely be concert free in 2010 save for a handful of one off festival-type shows. I guess the allure of Las Vegas was simply too much for this country boy to pass up. Chesney announced he would be playing four nights at the Joint at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino — May 14 & 15 and July 2 & 3.

Brad Paisley will be headlining the New England Musical Festival’s 7th Annual event in Boston, MA at Gillette Stadium. The lineup for the festival will include Easton Corbin, Sara Evans, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean. Tickets for the festival go on sale sat Ticketmaster starting January 30.

On January 24 in Los Angeles, Radiohead will be playing a benefit gig to raise money for relief efforts to help the earthquake ravaged Haiti. The show will take place at The Fonda’s Music Box Theatre, according to the website for the band. The capacity of The Fonda is around 1,300, which is a much smaller venue than the ones that typically the band plays in.

This spring Peter Gabriel will be offering fans in select cities of North America a glimpse from “Scratch My Back,” his orchestral covers album. Gabriel has dates lined up in three cities, kicking things off in Montreal on April 28. On May 2-3 he will have a pair of shows in New York City. The short outing will then close out in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl on May 7.

Cat Power, Heart, Loretta Lynn and Norah Jones are among the artists who have committed for the Lilith Fair tour this year. The itinerary continues to expand. Other additions who have recently joined the lineup for the tour include Elizaveta, Toby Lightman, Melissa McClelland, Rosie Thomas, Priscilla Renea, Marina & The Diamonds, Lissie, Missy Higgins, Lights, Kate Nash, Julia Othmer, Frazey Ford, Erin McCarley, Ceci Bastida, Beth Orton, La Roux, Gossip and Loretta Sia.

This year the San Francisco-based Noise Pop Festival will be featuring music-related films along with live appearances from various acts including Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Plastic Ono Band with Yoko Ono. The movie “Blood Into Wine,” focuses on Maynard James Keenan, Tool frontman, and documents the performer’s pioneering efforts to make wine in Arizona’s hostile desert.

Rob Zombie and Korn will be headlining Rockstar Energy Drink’s third Mayhem Festival. Supporting acts include Hatebreed, Five Finger Death Punch and Lamb of God. The summer event will kick off in Devore, CA on July 10 and work its way to the east, stopping in 24 city fairgrounds and amphitheaters across the country. The circuit for the festival will wrap up in Oklahoma City on August 14.

Muse, the rock heroes from South Devon, have received a nomination for a very prestigious British award. Last year the band, who first met and had gigs in Teignmouth, had two sold out gigs that thrilled the seafront resort’s local fans. Muse is a 2010 Brit awards nominee for best British group.
