The party was for celebrating the success of Lady Antebellum. Singer Charles Kelley was thinking the stream of praise and plaques would never end. Kelley joked while getting ready to pose for yet another photograph that it was starting to get embarrassing.

Kenny Chesney said that he’d be largely be concert free in 2010 save for a handful of one off festival-type shows. I guess the allure of Las Vegas was simply too much for this country boy to pass up. Chesney announced he would be playing four nights at the Joint at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino — May 14 & 15 and July 2 & 3.

The show will take place at The Fonda’s Music Box Theatre, according to the website for the band. The capacity of The Fonda is around 1,300, which is a much smaller venue than the ones that typically the band plays in.

Gabriel has dates lined up in three cities, kicking things off in Montreal on April 28. On May 2-3 he will have a pair of shows in New York City. The short outing will then close out in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl on May 7.
