Michael Buble Readies New Album 'Crazy Love' for Release

Michael Buble will be mixing remade standards with new material on his upcoming album “Crazy Love,” the first album from the singer in over two years. Scheduled to be released in October, “Crazy Love” consists of two original songs with 11 covered standards. The original face painters KISS are alive and well, preparing to blanket North America with their 40-date mega tour which is set to launch in Detroit on September 25 & 26. Dubbed “Alive 35″ commorating the band?s 35-year anniversary, the 2009 tour will feature all the old KISS favorites and a bit of a rarity — new songs. The forthcoming “Sonic Boom” will mark the band?s first studio album to be released since “Psycho Circus” hit the streets in 1998. ?Sonic Boom? will be exclusively sold via Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club on October 6.

Richie Sambora, guitarist for Bon Jovi, revealed that to promote The Circle, their upcoming album, the band might go out on a world tour next year. Placebo Cancels US Tour Dates

It turns out this pony crapped out before it ever got out of the gate. Placebo was set to take on their North American tour on September 12, but the trip has been scrapped since singer Brian Molko contracted a virus while in Asia and will need sufficient time to recover. Molko first showed signs of the virus by collapsing during a set at the Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka, Japan. Doctor’s have mandated bed rest for a minimum of six weeks.

The Bravery Wrap Album, Ready 2009 Tour

The New York quartet the Bravery have successfully closed the door on their latest album that is still due to be titled. The band is gearing up to take on a 33-city headlining tour that will start in Las Vegas on September 18 and carry them through the middle of November. They just got off the road as they were providing support for Green Day during a portion of their North American stops.

“Twang,” the new album from George Strait, country superstar, during the first week it was out in stores outsold all of the competition. “Twang” sold 155,000 copies during its first week and became the first set since the death of Michael Jackson to top both Top Comprehensive Albums and Billboard’s 200 charts in the same week.
